'Lovely Friendly staff. Accommodating with room change. Good very good and nice size portions. Gluten free fish and chips was amazing. Only minor downs, No gluten free biscuit in room as promised. No exchange of gluten free bread with starter (wasn’t hungry enough to ask, I’m sure they would have brought if asked) Bathroom, walls looked very wet and paint peeling off. '

'Erg mooi hotel, met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Met name het oog voor detail viel op. Diverse snacks op de kamer, Hot chocolate wanneer in een thermoskan bij terug komst na een dag in the cotswolds. Honesty bar. Een heerlijke lounge. De bedden waren zo comfortabel dat we twee keer het ontbijt gemist hebben. Enig puntje, het was wel warm op de kamer.'

'Lovely room with a view of a beautiful stone church. Excellent amenities in room. Room service provided us with a delicious breakfast. Very comfortable bed with a selection of pillows.Very gracious staff. There are some stairs you must climb to enter the building. Staff will assist you if needed.'

'It’s a beautiful hotel with a lovely pool/spa area too. We stayed in a Treehouse Room which was lovely but 3 floors was a bit of a pain, wouldn’t stay in that room type again but happily at the hotel. Food and drink was also excellent. '

'It is a beautiful hotel with a great history. All the staff were great. Lovely breakfasts. We were there 4 nights and had one dinner there which was great. We wanted to explore Cheltenham the other nights. Only hiccup was on our third day as elderly we decided to make use of the hotel first class facilities (out door heated swimming pool etc) and the most beautiful and comfy lounge. And although our room was empty at 10am , housekeeping did not service it until 3pm in spite of requests. '
