'A lovely hotel, full of character in the heart of Tewkesbury. The room was very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. I was impressed at how bottled water and tea bags etc were topped up everyday (not something that happens in every hotel in my experience). The staff were very friendly, helpful and obliging, nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had a good selection of dishes for dinner. The hotel is close to the bus stop for Cheltenham and Gloucester. '

'We had a lovely one night stay at The Stump while visiting our son who lives in Cirencester. It’s very well located and just what we were hoping for. Our room was warm and comfortable and well furnished, the service was friendly. Breakfast was nice and we had an evening meal the night before which was delicious. '

'Not a bad hotel but a shame breakfast was accompanied by the pinging of the microwave and that the ‘pastries’ were some pretty uninspiring cheap looking croissants. I appreciate we stayed there on Boxing Day but I’d still expect slightly better breakfast. '

'Great location , limited choose of food in the restaurant. Staff were great. Cleaners left underwear in the chest of draws from previous occupants. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to stay and visit '

'The Coombe House experience with our host David was simply amazing. He greeted us with outstanding hospitality and made us feel welcomed and at home. Our room and breakfast was top-notch. Our bed and shower welcoming and relaxing. David provides a first class experience for all his guests. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels and B&B’s over the years but the Coombe House is #1. When in the Cotswolds, I would definitely recommend staying there. '

'Truly gorgeous property, serene, friendly, helpful and responsive team. Plush and Modern bathrooms; one with a clawfoot tub, sleek shower and his/her sinks! The kitchen was also quite lovely and meticulously redone and well stocked with things for tea and coffee etc. The rooms were quite spacious and clean with lovely countryside views and what must be the most comfortable bed on this side of the pond! Thanks Andy for such an enjoyable stay!'

' basic but very comfortable accommodation 10 minutes walk from the nearest pub.The room was a decent size the bed was comfortable there was plenty of storage. The bathroom and shower were good with plenty of toiletries. there is plenty of parking room. I would take a torch if walking to local pubs and restaurants as the road has no pavement for about 100 metres and is quite dark but the road is quiet on a night'

'Very clean, great breakfast and good service. My main issue was the water heater in the bedroom. When it went off it was like a jet engine mainly late evening but at times through the night and for around an hour at 6am. I was in room 5 so if a light sleeper do not have that room. '

Prima hotel

"Fijne ruime kamer met goed bed. Ondanks dat we aan de wegkant sliepen was het erg rustig. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze hond mag niet in het restaurant, maar we konden ontbijten en dineren in de lounge. Het ontbijt en het restaurant zijn van prima kwaliteit. Aan de wifi bereikbaarheid werd hart gewerkt terwijl wij er waren 😊."

Prima hotel, lost problemen goed op.

"Als onderdeel van een rondreis verbleven in het hotel. Eerste indruk is dat het wel een degelijk hotel is, maar wellicht toe aan een beetje TLC. De kamers zijn gehorig. Tijdens ons verblijf was het erg warm, omdat - schijnbaar wat anders dan met NL - de meeste hotels geen airconditioning hebben, was ook deze kamer erg warm. Omdat je niet echt kan luchten kregen we een ventilator van de receptie. Tijdens ons verblijf was er een groep, de eerste nacht was het erg lawaaiig, we hebben dit kenbaar gemaakt en het hotel heeft alles keurig opgepakt en opgelost. Zelfde voor de warmte. Keurig opgelost allemaal. Zwembad is prima! Sauna goed heet en een squash en goede gym. Parkeren is 5 pond per dag. Let op! Dit gaat via een externe partner. "
