'This property stood out because of the outdoor living area, including pool, spa and grill. We paid extra ( $399) to have the pool heated for one day and it was perfect. The rooms and en suites were very nice and comfortable, plenty of space for us. We did request the property manager come over and show us how things worked because the appliances and faucets, etc. are all pretty high tech. The dishwasher was not stable, and did not work, but the manager sent repairmen over right away and they...

'Our family members range in ages 18-83. We enjoyed our time together in this beautiful home! The house is a spacious, elegant, clean home. There were a few issues that the owner and property manager properly addressed. We appreciated their concern for our comfort and prompt efforts to meet our needs. 'I really liked my stay. The location is great on the well known Venice Beach Boardwalk, the beach is literally 5 steps away. On the rooftop you can chill as well with a great view. Rooms are nice as well, beautiful bathroom and good bed to sleep in when you are not out in Venice and/or Santa Monica.'

'This was the perfect weekend getaway for my daughter and I. Perfect Beach location and there are two bikes!! Even better there is a coveted FREE parking spot just a few blocks away. The unit is very basic and a bit noisy, but we were well informed on this by the listing and the very communicative owner. We brought good ear plugs and used the White noise apps on our phones. Worked like a charm. Owner was available quickly by text and responded to our questions within minutes. '

"The hotel is completely new and modern. The lobby is on the 70th Floor with a magnificent view of the LA downtown skyline. The rooms are spacious and tidy. Staff is very friendly. Only minor point of comment is the not complete (at the time of booking via Expedia) transparency about the additional costs."

"Motel 6 LAX was a convenient location for an overnight stay ahead of our flight home. Car rental return is nearby and shuttle to LAX is on time and it only takes about 10 minutes to departure terminal."
