'The property, gardens and location were beautiful however the listing is misleading as it suggests that the rental is for the whole property (" extended family living on two floors", "private gardens"). There is actually someone staying downstairs and this rental is just the top floor. That was not a problem in itself, just a surprise. If there was a BBQ (which the listing says it has) we could not find it, and the email asking this question of Juliet (property manager) prior to our arrival was...

'This is a charming hotel. The rooms are traditional, with some modern upgrades (the TV has a US Roku - a good choice for US visitors, although unfortunately it doesn't really work for UK visitors). The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking outside the rooms. There is no buffet breakfast, and unfortunately the breakfast options are quiet expensive (approx US$70 for two people, which is a bit excessive for a simple breakfast). 'Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants.'

'Came to Oualie Beach Resort for a quick 2-days of diving off Nevis Island - great location! Super convenient with the Dive Shop right on property. Unique experience We would hope to come back for a longer stay and explore Nevis a bit more.'
