'Very small and basic, holes in the mosquito net, no soap in the bathroom, couldn’t flush the toilets, breakfast was nice, friendly staff. You leave a deposit when you check in, in case u lose the key. Nowhere to park. Short walk to the beach. Free cold water. Was okey but wouldn’t really recommend. '

'De accommodatie heeft een mooi uitzicht op zee. Helaas is de pier verwoest en al een paar maanden niet gerepareerd. De enige lift naar de vierde verdieping was kapot tijdens het verblijf, dus veel trappen lopen in het warme weer. Het zwembad is klein en heeft geen schaduw plekken. Er zijn ook te weinig parasols op het strand.'

'Great place above Samana bay. Not easy to get to (especially at night), but an oasis with incredible views, super friendly staff, good food and pretty access to Samana destinations. Loved private dinners in one of the two towers overlooking the bay. Yoga in the morning. No AC, but the higher rooms didn’t need it at all (fan plus breeze meant we used a blanket at night).'

'I felt comfortable, despite initial problem with my reservation through Expedia (which took 3 calls to resolve), and some construction noise. I stayed 4 nights in the 6bed dorm room. I miss the hostel dog Amazon, the most. It's a very basic hostel but staff/volunteers/owner/guests were very nice.
