'Loved the location of the premises. You step out in your right in the beach the staff is wonderful and the food is really unbelievable. The chef and the assistance is amazing. You can eat right by the beach and enjoy the most delicious Dominican food. It’s still in the works, meaning that it’s not fully constructed yet But no matter what it’s still worth it. This comes from a big-time beach lover.'

'We had a really great stay at the villa! The view is amazing. Only point that could be improved is the kitchen equipments that are lower than what we are used to. Note that there is a villa in construction just beside, it did disrupt part of our relaxing time by the pool. Overall a great stay and the price is good.'

'Casa del Rio is phenomenal. The pictures do not do it justice. The common spaces are comfortable, and each bedroom has a full bathroom, and the bedrooms are, moreover, away from each other, so a big group (we were 11) can have privacy. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained, the pool likewise, and the view is incredible. Add to that a lovely breeze and beach, and it's paradise. But the best part of our stay was the staff, who took care of us and fed us the best Caribbean food...

'Herrlich einsam gelegen, großzügige Anlage, toller Service, man kann sehr gut selber kochen und grillen. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Verwalter. Für uns war es perfekt.'

'I made a last minute booking because I was in the area later than expected. Upon arrival to the hotel they refused to let me stay because they were having a problem with the water and weren't accepting guests at the time. However, they processed my payment and confirmed my booking. The person in the hotel at my time of arrival was a security guard (there was no one available at the front desk) So I went ahead and requested a refund through Orbitz since that's where I booked it. Orbitz states...

'Staff was great and very nice. Very good people. However, the kitchen is full of roaches and there was no electricity in my bedroom. The owner seems to be very neglegent of this property and i wouldnt come here again even if i was paid to. Couldn’t even jump in the swimming pool without the roaches joining me. The infestation comes from the countertop in the kicthen where they breed and live.'

'My wife and I just enjoyed a wonderful stay at Lissette's condo. The condo itself was clean,quiet with very comfortable beds and a nice small groundfloor patio overlooking a serene greenspace populated by scattered palm trees. The grounds of the hotel/resort in which the condo resides was modern, clean and sat on what was one of the loveliest beaches in the area and for us, one of the most beautiful beaches we have seen anywhere in the world. 'The beach is awesome. Unfortunately, the price one pays is not reflected in the state of the rooms. Too many ruined down details and basic things missing that frankly makes you mad since they are really simple to repair. The staff is amazing but entangled trying to keep up with all the clients demands resulting from the lack of maintenance. It is a shame. This place used to be tops. Not anymore, and certainly not the “delux paradise “ they sell. Even the pool is missing tiles …'

'We brought family and friends to Villa Del Mar for a week long stay. We hosted our wedding at the villa as well. We had a wonderful experience. The food was fabulous. Omar, Joel, and Jose were so nice and helpful. Rebecca went above and beyond to help me plan the wedding for 10 months prior to our arrival. She was great at communicating and she answered every question I had and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted for our big day. She also came to check in periodically during our stay....

The owner quickly responded to all our questions and requests. The local manager was also extremely helpful and provided very quick assistance when needed.
