'We had a great stay here. Very friendly people at the reception. Breakfast was like you find at most motels in Texas: basic but decent enough. Good location to explore the wineries during the day. We highly recommend the Texas Hill Winery and Rhinory. Also for a late drink and a true taste of the Texan hospitality, go to the Red Baron bar just behind the hotel. It's a hidden gem in the parking lot that's really hard to find, but full of locals. Looks super dodgy from the outside, but great...

'Apparently, customer service is through email. The young lady at the desk was cordial and handled our check in efficiently. So why did I need an email about checking into the hotel.
