« This little cottage, tucked away on the edge of Fredericksburg, was a great place to enjoy the quiet, to see wildlife and still be just a short drive into town. Our host provided lots of little touches that made it so enjoyable. Thank you! »

« We loved spending our weekend at the oak ridge cottage II! It a very cute cottage with everything we needed to enjoy and unwind. The cozy feel of the cottage made the weekend feel perfect. The cottage was stocked with towels and little table games. The bed was also comfy! »

« Very nice and quiet area. We enjoyed coffee sitting on the porch rocking chairs. More than enough coffee and snacks were provided. Items to make smores were also provided. Plenty of towels and all neccesities were at reach. Due to the weather (strong winds) we were not able to use the hot tub or fire pit. Hopefully we will next time! »

Nous avons apprécié la terrasse et et surtout le propriétaire a fourni beaucoup de choses utiles : Parasol, natte de plage et surtout les serviettes de plage de très bonne qualités. « Everything was great here, an older home, but beautiful. The house was huge and had many older elements that made it charming. The rooms were tastefully designed and all the cabinets were fully stocked. We had a family get together here and it was the perfect location for our little get together. On top of that there was a power outage (someone hit a transformer) and the host was on the phone within minutes helping me locate the flashlights and emergency candles. Definitely will rent again! »

« We had an amazing time. Carolyn was very attentive and clearly cares about the details. The house had everything we could possibly think of. The kids never ran out of games to play. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms. I’m a blanket person and there were plenty of extra blankets and bedding. The beds were big and comfy. The dock is well kept and outdoor amenities were lovely. Plenty of seating. The kids loved going out on the paddle boat, fishing off the dock, sitting by the fire...

The backyard set up was perfect for campfires and grilling, and the location was very convenient to get to Lost Maples and Garner state parks. The house had everything we could want and was very cozy inside. Definitely want to go back! »
