'Decent hotel. Private beach good for families with kids. Good location by the city center and close to airport Downsides: exorbitant parking fee of 35$ and destination tax of 22$ which adds up. The hotel luau (island breeze) was quite expensive but Food at island breeze luau was bad. '

'Property itself was very nice but the unit was older and was in need of some updates and repairs; cupboard doors did not close properly, stains and tears on sectional, ice maker broken on fridge etc… Also found nail clippings on the bathroom floor. Minor things, the pools and grounds were very nice though and we spent more time outside anyways.'

'While the condo was in an ideal location in Kona, the amenities at the property were less than what I expected. The shower and bathroom sink were filthy. There were several hairs in the shower the day we arrived and what looked like toothpaste in the bathroom sink. The bathroom mirror was also dirty, with water spots all over it. The condo needs a good overall cleaning, as there was dust and dirt all over the walls, fans, decorations, etc. It is also a little outdated. The TV should be updated...

'We found The Big Island Rereat to be just as good as the pictures! It was easy to find right off Ali'i drive. Check in and out were both very easy. We stayed in the Ocean View room which was just as advertised. There is no AC which is in the room description so there was no surprise. Ceiling fan and to other larger standing fans kept the air moving through the room. There is a common area which has beach chairs to use and some snorkel gear and boogie boards as well and an outdoor kitchen...

'Location is great, just 2 minute walk to the water and less than 10 for a swim. We enjoyed staying Kailau/Kona. The condo is well maintained as is the property. We had to call the property manager to reset the door code when we arrived ... it just took her 5 minutes to come and a few minutes to do it. This condo is small, particularly the kitchen (although the fridge is fullsize) and the bed is just okay, but it has a nice balcony to sit on. It worked well for us.'

'今回は３泊だけの滞在でサイトの評価も高くはないので期待していませんでしたが…私的には高評価の宿泊先だと思います。 最近のコナは街中が有料の駐車場になってしまい登録も面倒なんですが…部屋から街までは歩いて買い物や食事に行けます。 部屋に割り当てられた駐車スペースも十分に有り夜もライトが付いていました。 プールは少し狭目ながらも深さの有るプールと景色は最高です。 各階にコインランドリーとゴミ捨て場も有りました。 気になる点で言うとラナイが隣の部屋から覗けてしまうので隣人とのコミュニケーションが気になる点と冷凍庫は使用は出来ますが毎日少量の水が漏れてくる事でした。 全体的に高評価でまた利用したい施設です。'
