'No hot water in their so called Spa villa and electricity shortcuts. Very loud and old AC. Bad food in the restaurant. Housekeeping came at 6pm. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Big construction around the hotel. Hotel manager was very apologizing and admitted their mistake in putting us in a villa that was not supposed to be rented. We've agreed on a partial refund that never got approved after we've checked out. Hotels.com were no help in solving this issue! '

'I stayed 3 nights. I did notice the smell mentioned in the reviews before I booked. Only one person mentioned it. I Booked it anyhow. I figured when I got there that it’s probably the vent (I stayed on the 7th floor) cause it only smelled when the vent in the bathroom was on. I did report it to front desk at checkout and I was assured it will be looked into. Otherwise, Friendly and helpful staff. Facility is nice. The breakfast/branch was great. Felt very safe. 'Don't stay at this hotel if you only plan to stay overnight and can't arrive early to check-in and leave early the next morning like what we did. 'Perfect hotel to get to Cebu Airport. Staff is incredible, making sure all needs are met and set up shuttle to the airport. Able to walk to many restaurants. Doorman also made sure that panhandlers did not continue to approach me while I was sitting outside reading a book and enjoying the atmosphere of the street. Room was just what I needed, clean, and a very quiet place even on a busy street. Thanks for providing a wonderful stay!'

Restaurant ramen waren te vies om naar buiten te kijken aan de zeekant, eindconclusie te veel geld voor dit resort. 5 sterren waardig? Nee, dat zeker niet maar wel 4 sterren...'

'I had a lovely stay in The Reef - what a beautiful place! Very nice rooms, fine breakfast, very warm and friendly staff, and very easy access to great snorkeling. One point of attention - when the staff orders a taxi, they automatically order a luxury taxi which is double as expensive as a white taxi. As you need to pay taxis with cash, this can lead to a negative surprise when you are low on cash (for me, on my trip to the airport going back)'
