« Working over Christmas we booked this break to get away from all the madness. Just us and the dog. Thimblewynd was just perfect and we loved it. Peaceful and comfy throughout we chilled out in front of thr log burner or in the hot tub, the tv wasn't on once! We eat at the Kirkstyle Inn which was lovely but made ourselves breakfast and snacks in the well equipped kitchen. There was not a single thing we could fault and we loved every minute. Thanks to Maggie for hosting us. »

« We had a lovely 2 night stay and were able to leave the car at the property as it’s within walking distance of city centre for shopping and dining. It’s 2 min walk up the hill to Branklyn Gardens and tea room. The property is also near to Kinoull Hill and other walks. We found our room to be quiet, very comfortable and had an excellent pre ordered breakfast each morning. »
