'We had appartment 11 in the Monastery (North). A really lovely appartment and perfect for a few nights away in the Highlands. The room had literally everything you could possibly need! The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. I know its luck of the draw.... but the weather was absolutely perfect for our stay and it just made it all the better! The only thing to mention is that there is no lift, but luckily that didnt bother us. We certainly got our steps in for the days we were...

'Beautiful, fairy tales behind stay. The breakfast and evening meals were less good. There was also no possibility to eat in the village.Luckily the cook was kind enough to make a steak sandwich for us for the lunch.The staff were very helpful.'

'Loved this guest house as so quiet and tranquil. The views are fabulous and the walks from the house beautiful. A hearty breakfast every day freshly cooked all locally sourced. The house is very clean and so welcoming, you feel at home straight away. I would recommend to anyone and shall be staying again.'

'Quite an unusual experience for me, eating dinner with the owners, chef and others guests, then relaxing in the sitting room as opposed to spending the evening sat on my bed like a usual B&B. It really made it an enjoyable stay. Everyone was lovely, food was delicious.'
