« One of the owners of the property greeted us for check in. He showed us how to work the hot tub, gas powered fire place, convection oven, as well as a tour of the entire apartment that is beautifully furnished. You can tell from the pictures that it is a rustic Adirondack decor but the details in person are even more beautiful. All done by the owners. Both were very friendly and very accommodating! Very clean and very comfortable! Would definitely stay there again! »

« This property was pretty much as described, and view was nice. It IS up 2 flights of very narrow stairs, not regulation size so had to tread carefully but otherwise fine. PROs: VERY convenient location, walking distance to hockey arena, downtown, restaurants and the walking path around the lake. « Property was convenient to everything for the weekend. Parking is a bit tricky/pricey, but to be expected given that it is Lake Placid. The stairs leading to the apartment from the sidewalk was the first surprise as the step was not evenly spaced. The apartment was ok. I attempted to contact the property owner via the VRBO messaging client to alert them that the kitchen sink had no hot water coming from the faucet. I never received a response. « We had a wonderful stay!! The place was beautifully maintained, spotless and had so many extra touches that made our stay very special. The bed is extremely comfortable and we loved the heated floors in the bathroom and fireplace. The location is perfect. Close to many fabulous restaurants and bars. This was a great getaway to relax and we can’t wait to visit again!! We highly recommend to any and all. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. »
