We’ve stayed in this cabin many years ago…when it was all knotty pine. I like the fresh white paint, makes cabin feel bigger.
I understand we stayed at the end of the summer season, but several things were broken or missing. Right away when we got there we had to text Annie Hartley (host) for hand towels, dish cloths, wash rags and trash bags. She got some delivered quickly!
We also noticed the ceiling fan had been broken, in fact at the end of our stay it detached from the ceiling and was hanging by a wire. Text Annie again and she sent maintenance. By the time he got there my husband had already disconnected the wire. A couple of window blinds were either broken or missing. The bathroom heater didn’t work, but when maintenance came for the fan found breaker had been tripped and reset it.
The thing that bothered my husband the most was how dirty the floor was. He likes going barefoot, but didn’t our whole stay.
We loved being in Greer at this off season. No crowds, and the leaves were starting to changing. Plus we do love the cabin’s location, and Annie Hartley was very quick to respond whenever we text her. Just sad the condition of the cabin.
