« Best hotel we have stayed in in the North East. Quality of decor and furnishings was outstanding. Staff were generally very professional. However, there appeared to be a shortage of staff in some areas and some inexperienced staff. »

« Had a lovely stay and would revisit. Staff were extremely welcoming and nothing was an issue. We were not aware the facilities were being refurbished and disappointed the pool and hot tub were too cold to enjoy. Hopefully their refurb is complete on our next visit and we can enjoy the whole package. Rooms need to have brighter lighting available as quite dark. »

« Lovely secluded hotel, beautiful building in absolutely gorgeous scenery. Food was delicious both in hotel restaurant for breakfast and afternoon tea and also in Linden Tree pub for evening meal. Bedroom was spacious and had all that was needed, comfy bed, good sized bathroom with a decent pressure shower over the bath. The spa was well worth the money too. »
