« Stayed here with my daughter as a base for enjoying some waking. Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We only had breakfasts there but it was really tasty with good service. The venue is very nice with a sense of history to it. Room was spacious and comfortable. May be in the process of getting refreshed as some parts seemed very fresh and modern while other bits looked more traditional. Great value for a very pleasant place to stay and a perfect base. »

« We recently stayed at the North Lakes Hotel & Spa as a stopover on our journey from Scotland to England, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the family room was perfect for us. The children were thrilled to find named biscuits and their own welcome packs waiting on arrival – such a thoughtful touch! One of my personal highlights was the fresh milk machine just outside our room, which made bedtime bottles for the kids super...

« We came back late from a long walk in the Lakes and realize arriving in our room that they gave us a room with no blind or curtain !!!! We rang the Reception at 11pm they said someone was coming but nobody showed up. The following morning when we wanted to record a formal claim the receptionist just told us "sorry" It is a shame !!! Avoid this hotel ! You pay a high rate for the location but the rest is shameful !! »

« We stayed at Linthwaite House to celebrate my partners birthday, its not so much a hotel as a Art Gallery with its wonderfully tasteful decor and items from the owners private collection. Its location over looking Windermere and landscaped garden it was for us the most fantastic place to relax wonderful food and with staff that couldn't do enough for us truly 5 star for us it was a "Faultless" weekend. »

« Bonne taille de chambre. Réception très aimable. Mais, salle d’eau ridiculement petite, lavabo, en fait lave-mains inutilisable (minuscule), lit de 140cm, mauvaise literie. Et situé sur une route très passante, bruits de voitures insupportables. Donc, difficile de dormir et de se laver, embêtant pour un hôtel.... »
