'What a wonderful escape in the beautiful countryside! We loved our stay at the charming Farmhouse. The house itself was well stocked, clean, and spacious. The beds were so comfy! Plenty of places for our family to sprawl out. The yard was big and it was fun to see the cows in the meadow and walk down to the river. The host was great and responded quickly. Located near hiking, ski resort, and Harrisonburg. Great property!!!!'

'Tough place to find when we arrived at night, but reading the reviews i knew this. I would recommend a sign at the "Y" in the drive way to point to the house. The house itself was very nice. There is definitely a smell of dogs in the house so if that is an issue, this may not be your place. I was not able to utilize the outdoor spaces or the river because of a storm. I was there for a JMU finction and it was in a great location, far enough yet close enough. Again the only issue is the dog smell,...

'We came down to see our granddaughter's Field Hockey team play their last 2 home games for the season. There were 9 of us, 3 of them being 7 year old twins and my 4 year old grandson. The house was clean, and beautifully decorated for fall. And the grounds are lovely with lots of room for the kids to play and lots of places for walks in the woods. 'This home is absolutely stunning. There have been tons of upgrades while still keeping with the integrity of the original house. It was still decorated for Christmas and my children loved keeping the tree lit. You won't be even a little disappointed in this house!'

It was just after Christmas and we were visiting my sister and her family so we wanted a place where we could all sit down and have a meal. And this place is perfect and so lovely. Just as described, clean, easy to access and the host was amazing, even checked in with us after we arrived to ask if there was anything else we needed.
