B&B in Virginia

'Thank you for a great stay! The Abigail Inn is essentially a bed-and-breakfast. It is in a wonderful location for those who are visiting Lexington, Virginia, Washington and Lee University, or Virginia Military Institute. The included breakfast was honestly one of the best breakfasts of my life! '

'We so enjoyed staying at this inn. We didn’t know it was in a country club with access to several of the amenities of the club. The room was beautiful, the innkeeper was very accommodating and any of the staff we ran into were lovely. A short drive to the closest metro station, we spent a day in DC, & the 2nd day in the rolling hills of northern VA in wine country where we had good wines & enjoyed a lovely dinner at a recommend spot. We would stay here again. '

'A lovely place! Brigette is a sweet lady who knows how to run a wonderful B&B! Her home is spotless and so simply and beautifully decorated. The land the home is on has beautiful trees. The best part of it all was the breakfast. Regretfully, we could only stay 1 night so we only got to experience it once. It started with a slightly sweet raspberry, blueberry, and green apple fruit salad, lightly sweetened with maple syrup. It didn’t taste like syrup but made the fruit slightly sweet. ...

'Tammy and Dave were wonderful hosts - welcoming, engaging and knowledgeable about the area. The room was beautiful and the common area, with a roaring fire in the fireplace, was a wonderful place to play games and relax. The breakfast was spectacular. 'A lovely getaway at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Very relaxing and enjoyable - the staff was beyond accommodating and friendly as well. Dinner at the restaurant was equally as enjoyable. The hostess and Chef made it a wonderful experience and meal. A quiet getaway. We’ll go back. '
