'The reception was very good and helpful, the restaurant food was amazing and the staff very attentive, the room however although looked good there was a large amount of cobwebs, in the bathroom area and a number of flys on and around the bath, the tiles had a large amount of water marks and the taps and shower had water marks and scale. The standard double was two beds put together so a very uncomfortable night sleep as well kept going down the dip in the middle'

'We hebben heerlijk verbleven in het Royal Lion Hotel. De ligging is geweldig; pal aan zee. Onze kamer bood schitterend uitzicht. De kamer was schoon, de check-in vriendelijk en het ontbijt was goed. Ons was bekend dat het gebouw gerenoveerd wordt, we zijn benieuwd hoe het eruit komt te zien! Het gebouw heeft met zijn hoge plafonds en mooie ornamenten veel potentie.'

'I had a fantastic stay at the Imperial hotel. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. I asked about the scaffolding being put up at the hotel and whether it would be covering the window in my room. They found out that it would and offered me a room on the other side of the hotel. I also questioned about the heating which they think maybe the builders knocked something but were glad that I let them know. The hotel is a bit tired but it is comfortable...

'Once we had the key code situation under control, this was an easy excellent choice. On the Harbour, in the heart of it all! Amazing!'

'Sånn sett var rommet heilt greit men litt for durt i forhold til kva du fikk. Men dette er ikkje eit rom for høge eller store personer. Senga var veldig kort, og eg fikk ikkje plass å sitte på do fordi badekaret var heilt inni det. Det var enn del bråk fra både hunden og de som driver stedet, og hundene var voldsomt. 'Very nice room, with everything working. The food was excellent - quality ingredients and beautifully presented on the plates. Speaking personally I would have liked a few more of those lovely vegetables to accompany the very tasty belly pork main course! Plenty of parking - very close to the accommodation. Very helpful and friendly reception staff. We will be back!'

'Great comfort, most friendly staff, beautiful views over the fields and sea. The Castle is on a beautiful wat converted into a luxoruous hotel with keeping a Castle feeling. Everything was just exceeding expectations. We had a wonderul time, with nice walks and sightseeing in the area. We will return again if we are in Wales on holidays.'

Lovely cottage in a peaceful setting

"We loved this place. It felt like home immediately and we enjoyed the quiet mornings in the sun, the cute shower that talked to us, the super tidy and sweet decorations throughout the house, the very complete kitchen and the super attentive owners. Thank you very much!"

Charming cottage but in a bad state

"The cottage is situated on a wonderful location. Hidden in the green valley. It's a peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately, we soon discovered that the cottage is in a bad state. The windows and doors do not open. They are rotten in some places or sealed with tape. Only the front door works well. The supply of cold water is very low. There is not enough water for one person to shower. Let alone four! Due to the low water pressure, the washing machine does not work either. We knew that it would be a basic accommodation, but we did not know that it would be in such a bad state. It was also not really clean. Lots of cobwebs, spiders and dust. Very unfortunate, because the location in the valley is fantastic! The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful. The people are friendly and there are numerous hikes in the near surroundings."
