'Talking about a room with a view? Try to get room 22 or the one on the 3rd floor directly above for an astonishing view. The hotel itself is neat and clean, and including sauna and steambad, very nice! The breakfast buffet was up to our standard and the surroundings in the Swiss alps has been as always brilliant. 'Alles zeer dicht op wandel afstand. Wij hadden de "Chic" maar waarom dit Chic is, ....weet ik niet. Een gewone kamer met minimale voorzieining. Geen airco, geen frigo, geen kluis, beperkte ruimte, inloop douche zonder privacy etc... m.a.w. te duur voor wat het is.'

'Geweldige accomodatie met een schitterend uitzicht op de Eiger. De ontvangst was hartelijk en persoonlijk. De sauna’s zijn mooi en schoon en was echt een kadootje bovenop alles. Het restaurant was ook voortreffelijk!'

'The staff of the hotel is very friendly and customer-oriented. The food in the restaurant - both breakfast and dinner - is perfect, but the choice of dishes for dinner is relatively limited. The rooms and particular bathrooms are small. The pool/sauna facility is nice but only open for use in the afternoon and evening, not in the moring. 'We were welcomed with a drink on the beautiful balcony while they brought our bags to the room. The room was spacious and air conditioned, however; the comforter was heavy. The breakfast was wonderful. A very nice buffet with an incredible view. They even had mimosas! The spa and outdoor tub looked nice but we did not use. We would definitely stay here again. '

'Het hotel ligt zeer dicht bij het pittoreske treinstation van Grindelwald, direct aan het begin van de "winkelstraat", op zich een ideale uitvalsbasis. Het hotel op zich is relatief "gedateerd" maar dit valt weg tegen de zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke medewerkers. Helaas is internet alleen per 24u te betalen en wel tegen een tarief waar je een paar keer "U" tegen zegt, nl. CHF30,= per dag (omgerekend zo'n EUR22,50). Nu kreeg ik de eerste dag gratis, maar de dagen erna mooi geen internet...

'We loved it, incredible service and attention, nice breakfast, rooms nice and clean. The only thing it was challenging was to arrive to the hotel through an slipery up hill street with the suitcases but we for sure will go back and absolutely do recomend the hotel. '
