'Zeer welkom gevoel, vriendelijke ontvangst in grote heldere en schone lobby. Nette kamer met goed bed. Zwembad bij hotel was leuk, ligt alleen in de schaduw maar met de warmte van Batam is dat niet heel naar. Eten en drinken bij ontbijt was niet aan ons besteed, veel lokaal eten en het andere was smaakloos.'

'Out of the 4 lift, only 2 working. Take very long for the lift to come down to your level. Facilities are old. Variety of dishes for breakfast are the same daily. Only 1 meat. Not palatable:'

'I booked and paid through EXPEDIA 1 room for 2 nights at Formosa Hotel, Batam, Indonesia. When my wife and I arrived at the hotel (by taxi), the hotel was totally CLOSED for renovation!!! It was not easy to find another hotel as we are not very familiar with other hotels in the area. Now let’s see how fast EXPEDIA will refund me. '

'I like the big size of the deluxe room which comes with a bath tub. We had a great time there. The staff are very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. '
