Hotels met roomservice in Riau-archipel

'Net hotel. Vriendelijk en keurige personeel. Jammer dat het door corona erg rustig was. Kamers iets gedateerd, maar schoon en alles werkt. Fijn bed. Kamers zijn wel donker en mijn kamer keek uit op een soort gallerij zonder buitenlicht. Dat maakte de kamer nog donkerder.'

'The hotel is under renovation so we could not stay there. Called hotels.com but was put on hold for a ridiculous 92minutes. Agent said will look for a vacancy nearby the amir hotel and get back to me, but did not get back to us after waiting for close to 2 hours. Walk in to a nearby hotel and was immediately offered a room. Waste my time, international call time, money and most importantly ruined the trip for me and my girlfriend. I wish to speak to the higher up of hotels.com for compensation.'

'Location was good. 20mins drive from Batam Center Ferry Terminal and 5-10mins walk to Grand Batam Mall, 15-20 mins walk to BCS Mall. There are many eateries around. The room was spacious and clean. Though the furniture is a bit old, they are functional. The negative point is the bath tub. The design is not good as the water from either the shower head or the waterfall head will have some of the water onto the bathroom floor. The drainage of the bathtub is also super slow, ie draining a bath tub...

'Nice room sea view facing, but quite basic with amenities for this much spoken of resort. Complimentary mini bar was just 2 cans of soft drinks. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Dinner at the Japanese restaurant Hinotori was very good! '

'Prettige accomodatie, fijne kamer, zeer vriendelijk personeel.. Alle restaurants in de buurt zijn duur. Eten in angsana niet zo geweldig. Ontbijt wel prima! Grootste probleem is dat er in de omgeving verder niets te doen is.'
