'A lovely house for a group of 5 girlfriends on a getaway weekend. It was warm and cozy with plenty of charm. Parking was easy and street was quiet. We loved it. '

'Cannot beat the location - so close to Cary St. with all the shops and eateries! Larger than we expected, comfortable and clean. Nicely appointed kitchen. Spacious bathroom. Bonus - super short walk to grocery and drug store. Great “home base” for a visit to Richmond.'

'The duplex was perfect for two families that were attending a family event in the Richmond area. The duplex had everything you could need, it was easy to access and it was just as indicated in the VRBO listing.'

'Great place to get together with family, some of whom live in Richmond, some from out of town. Off-street parking was great. Kitchen was well-furnished, and the fridge is huge! Nice easy walks to the parks made this a great location.'

'Seems like some VRBO hosts are omitting everything possible, like moving into a shell of a home. Not this one! Our host was considerate like you'd expect a proper hotel should be -- no need to run around to a store to pick up a little shampoo if you forgot it. Extremely communicative from the moment we booked, which was another above and beyond aspect.'

'Had a great stay at the property. Robert, the host/owner, is amazing to work with. Super responsive, very attentive, and incredibly kind. Upon arrival there were a few things on the exterior that caused a little concern (porch in somewhat rough shape, neighbors house very close and not in great shape, backyard in somewhat of disarray -- both BBQ grill and firepit were filled with water, back fence gate propped up by cinder block) but don't let it take away from what is inside. Very nice...

'Great property manager, great communication! Property is clean and accommodating (especially for my mom who uses a wheelchair/walker due to bad knees. Only downside is the neighborhood was a little questionable… my mom heard what sounded like gunshots going off 2/3 nights she stayed. However, nothing else scary or questionable went on. So could have been a fluke! Overall, it’s a good place to stay for the price! '

'Was a great house to stay at. They accommodated my family well with my 3 dogs. Had a nice fenced-in back yard and plenty of space in the house for my family. Owner communicated with me well. I would recommend this VRBO for family too use. '

'I have stayed at multiple houses, this one was by far the best. The house was clean, smelled amazing, and a great lay out. Communication with the owner was amazing, check in and out was seamless. Great yard for dogs. Quiet and safe neighborhood. 10/10 would stay again, thanks for having us!'

'Stayed here for marathon weekend. Location worked very well as it was only about a mile from starting line and only about a 5 min drive to the restaurants and bars of The Fan neighborhood. The house was clean and comfortable with easy check-in/check-out. It is close to train tracks, and there was usually one loud train whistle each night. I would happily stay here again.'

'Place was quiet and clean. Easy access and good communication with host. It was nice that the living room had a door since we were using the pull-out couch for sleeping. We didn’t need to use the kitchen much but it had the essentials. Nice little deck and big yard. The temperature control was difficult, especially since it was so cold, and it would have been nice to have extra blankets available. '
