'I was surprised to find the front door of the hotel locked, requiring me to knock and wait for admission....not very hospitable. When I commented about it to the receptionist she asked "Is that a problem". I found her to be unfriendly. When trying to connect to Wi-Fi I called to ask for the password and she told me to look on the key cover rather than just telling me. This was around 10PM and I had been driving all day.'

'I've always liked the historical Read House--- location, staff, history, etc. Our room looked recently renovated, updated and modern but with historical flair. From the doorman to the bartenders-- this place is classic old fashioned, hotelier.'

'I love staying here, we checked in we had very sweet gentlemen who help me to get the best room for me and convenient locate for my dog, the broom was beautiful and clean and comfy. My brother and I very much enjoyed our stay until the next morning. We went about nine to go eat breakfast and there wasn’t much left. They were out of waffles. They were out of sausage.
