De hotelkamer is alleen niet echt schoon (spinrag in de lampenkapjes, overal stof op hogere plaatsen en er komt veel ongedierte binnen als het ‘s avonds donker is. Voor de deur hangen felle lampen die ongedierte aantrekt en die vliegen met je mee naar binnen. Deur sluit ook niet goed af. Het restaurant heeft een goed uitzicht op het meer, maar 0 sfeer. 'What a GEM of a hotel! Even better than the pictures. The grounds are so beautiful with lots of flowering plants. We saw a Toucan and 3 Sloths! The Staff was very helpful with spotting the Sloths plus Coffee tour and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was fantastic! We only had two nights here but wished we had a longer stay. The rooms are not cheap, basically nothing is cheap in Costa Rica for that matter. No supermarket close by...so stock before you arrive. The rooms have a spa bath..again great for the kids. The have 2 false hot springs, one on the property and one at a 10 minute drive from the property next to Baldi Springs. They provide shuttle service for that...
