'The staff was excellent and the property despite what transfer companies say is very safe. Some tranport for tours are not accessible because they will accept your accommodation information on booking and then later tell you that the streets are too narrow for their vehicles to pick you up. Ask before you book otherwise they will tell you to meet them somewhere else and it may be 1 or 2 in the morning.'

'The hotel offered driver pickup at the airport which we accepted. The driver was shady as can be. He brought us to the hotel and said look at the room quickly and we will show you another property we own nearby and you can choose. He took us to the next town and proceeded to take our luggage out of the car. The room wasn’t sufficient for five people and didn’t have air conditioning in 100 degree heat. 'Second time here. The staff are really wonderful; welcoming, kind and helpful. I wonder a little around the cleanliness:finding foreign hairs in our bed, but overall it was quite clean. The rooms are unique and funky. The only issue is the noise at night, not something they can do anything about. It’s the price you pay for booking in the old city. Overall I highly recommend this place.'

'Nice young man, I think the son of owners helped me up a narrow staircase with my luggage. The room was a reasonable size for being in the heart of Istanbul, and was nice, had a fridge (with 2 bottles of water) table & chairs and a comfy bed and a good AC. The area is very convenient to the heart of Istanbul, close to Galata tower, Galata port and near the Trams to cross the river to see the Mosques and more in the old town, also close to the ferries to lots of places. The Metro is a 10 min walk...
