'Good points: location is convenient to LA, Hollywood and Universal Studios. Free shuttle to Universal is a big plus (remember to reserve well ahead of time). The pool area and the sun deck are a great place to lounge. Rooms are good enough with decent beds. Bad points: walls of rooms are thin and there may be a lot of noise. Parking spaces are built for 1950s cars and are small for today’s size of cars. My main negative point was that the hotel charged us a ridiculous amount for a new bed sheet...

'The hotel is a hidden gem. Definitely a good price for the location because it has free parking and shuttle to Universal’s studio unlike the Hilton next to the park which you have to pay for parking. The room (ie, king bed for two) was spacious especially the shower which had two shower heads, one being a rain shower head which was a nice bonus. And the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
