'A very nice hotel at a reasonable price. The beds were great but it would have been nice to have a microwave. I enjoyed the free welcome drink and the staff was great. Parking is free and very convenient and the hotel is close to town. A great place to stay for a couple of nights while you tour Hilo and Volcano, which is less than an hour away.'

'Wnjoyed the complementary paddle boards, bikes, and 24/7 coffee. While the remodeled aspects of the property are very nice, some aspects, such as wondows and outdoor walkwaya were dated.'

'This is our second stay at Saul’s house. This home is absolutely fantastic! The views and location are perfect! It’s cozy and a great place to relax and unwind! We enjoyed our time on the lanai watching whales and listening to the waves. Cant wait to visit again! Highly recommend!'

'Lovely staff who were very helpful. The property was built in 1920 by the grandfather of the young lady who managed the hotel during our visit. She told us that plans are being made to refurbish the hotel. We stayed in the ocean view room where the views are stunning. The hotel does need some modenisation in some parts. '
