De locatie is oké, maar houd rekening met een half uur reistijd naar de gondel in Wengen. De bus stopt bijna voor de deur en brengt je in een paar minuten naar de trein. 'We have really enjoyed our stay. Diarmuid is a very good host. The appartement is very well located at walking distance of the best cabin lift you could imagine as starting point for skiing. 'The view from our balcony was amazing! Having a kitchen and laundry facilities was a great advantage to being able to stay on budget and enjoy relaxing while traveling. 'Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! '

'We went to Jungfraojoch for the day and stayed overnight. The apartment was clean with good amenities. Also the benefit of a store downstairs and plenty of things within walking distance. Check in was easy and the underground parking secure. Guy was very helpful in communication with all our needs.'

'We spent 10 wonderful days staying at Chalet Barbara. The chalet is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. 'The room was not clean at all. Bathroom had black and red molds and smell very bad and kitchen area were also dirty. We really did not want to touch much. Sheets had a hole. 'We hebben t erg naar ons zin gehad. Mooi appartement alles aanwezig en vanaf deze locatie alles goed te bereiken zowel met auto als trein/boot. Heel handig dat er handdoeken aanwezig waren en regelmatig werden vernieuwd. Enige is dat t aan een wat drukke weg ligt. Klein minpuntje dat t erg warm werd in t huisje. 'Fijne woning met alles wat je nodig hebt. De buurtsuper zit op een paar minuten rijden van de woning. Een zeer attente en goed benaderbare gastheer, die een heerlijke notentaart voor ons bakte. De omgeving is zeer rustig maar toch dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden. Vanuit huis kun je ook wandeltochten maken waarbij je wild kunt spotten.
