'We stayed for one night and played golf the following day. The hotel is very grand. Lovely rooms and very comfy bed. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t great. Lots of choice but the cooked breakfast was like warm. Hard fried eggs and the bacon was rock solid. '

'Nice building, character. We had a huge room in the eves, great. However, there is a need for some maintenance, stair carpet a big hole, some woodwork could do with a lick of paint, silicone refreshing. The spa, mmmm, clean those shower walls and repair some taps and such. It really needs to be uplofted in places.'

'We hadden een kamer in het hoofdgebouw. Rustig gelegen kamer met uitzicht op de golfbaan. Heerlijke matras. Jammer dat de WiFi alleen in de openbare ruimte gratis is. Op de kamer kost het £ 12,49 per dag. Ontbijtbuffet is heerlijk. Veel keus en ook veel vers fruit. vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Je mag ook gebruik maken van zwembad en jacuzzi. '

'Fantastic stay, the house was perfect and stunning scenery right on the doorstep (albeit the fog tried to ruin it). Our first Christmas at a neutral location, took some planning but it worked out very well, the kitchen was great with all the equipment you could need. Loved the Aga too. Heartily recommend this place to anyone'
