'It was lovely and out of the way. Very nice room and Ensuite. Only down points were very hard bed and pillows and the shower mechanism was slightly broken so difficulty in regulating temperature, but water pressure was great. Overall, we would be happy to return. '

'Lovely, cosy welcoming cottage. So clean and well equipped - even things you don’t even know you’ll need are provided - all very well thought out. Fabulous location - you can easily drive places and there’s a nice walk down to the beach and local pub. We have stayed at Colby Cottage three times now and I would recommend it to anyone. '

'The bathroom heater didn't work and we didn't have a hair dryer but another property on site leant us one so there was no issues. Other than that a lovely peaceful place to stay. Property management very friendly and helpful.'

'Everything you could need for a peaceful relaxing stay. All the amenities literally on your door step Morrisons daily, chip shop, couple of pubs, chemist ice cream parlour and the beach literally a few foot steps from the door. The house was clean and had everything you could need and the hot tub was amazing. The garden is steep but we managed it ok it’s just to bear in mind of your not so good with. Steps would def stay again absolutely loved it '

'I spent a relaxing 5 days here with my family (7 of us, ages 5 to 70). The views from the house are beautiful, and I probably spent too much time just gazing out of them! The house is cosy, very well equipped and spacious. For the outdoor minded there are plenty of walks in the area, and lots of little beaches to discover. 'Prachtige cottage ,zeer compleet en heel netjes. Super locatie. Eigenaren wonen ernaast. Zijn zeer vriendelijk en nauwelijks merkbaar. We hebben een week daar doorgebracht. De omgeving is iedere dag weer een sprookje ( als het weer meezit) maar ook een dagje in de cottage is geen straf. We hebben genoten. '

'Mark en Eloise hebben het huisje en de bijbehorende tuin met veel aandacht en smaak opgeknapt en ingericht. Zowel bij goed als bij slecht weer kun je je er prima vermaken! Buiten is de tuin met BBQ en hot tub een echte hit. Binnen waren we aangenaam verrast door de electronische games waar onze tieners zich bij regen mee vermaakten. 'The only problem was we took our dogs and due to not having proper fencing our dogs could get out. This does need attending to as it is a dog friendly cottage'

'The property and grounds were absolutely stunning. Our irish setter Flynn thought so too, had great fun around garden. Property beautiful and kitchen well stocked. Warm at all times. Plenty of seating. Would be a dream home.'

'We stayed here for 14 days. Ann is a wonderful host. Takes care of everything. House is well equipped. Hot tub was warm when we arrived! It takes some hours to heat it up when its cold. The bed is a little small for 2 long persons. Dog was very welcome! '
