'Het raam van onze kamer op de begane grond ging niet dicht, de hendel zat los. Iedereen kon zo naar binnen stappen. Direct gemeld, er zou iemand komen kijken. Niet dus. De medewerker bij de receptie heeft een geheugen als een goudvis, 5 minuten na je klacht is hij je alweer vergeten. De toiletrolhouder was afgebroken. In plaats van een nieuwe op te hangen stonden er losse rollen, onverschilligheid. Schimmel op de ramen. Hotel ligt aan een drukke weg, je kan nergens heen lopen.'

'Hotel has seen better days. The rooms and public areas could do with a fresh-up. Especially the doors to the wet areas (toilet, bathroom). Our room was difficult to lock as that needed maintenance too. The staff was not able to fix it during our stay. Good and comfortable beds though. Breakfast area was huge so a big buffet to choose from but no egg station. No breakfast menu or freshly made coffee or tea available, only a machine. '

'We had a memorable stay in Inverlochy Castle Hotel an experience which more than matched our expectations. Minor niggles were quickly resolved and in no way detracted from our enjoyment. We especially enjoyed walking in the grounds (November weather permitting) and the five course dinner in Seasgair was worth every penny, a fitting climax to our special occasion. 'Stayed for a week in this cottage with fabulous views. Very clean and just about everything you need. We were only missing a corkscrew and egg cups, but anything else you need is there. Not quite as homely as we would have hoped as the cottage is quite sparse, but still had a wonderful time. Great to be able to access the canal and take a nice long walk to Neptune’s staircase from the cottage!'
