Vue incroyable sur l’Arno, la Galerie des Offices et le Ponte Vecchio

Appartement très bien situé, spacieux, très bonne literie. Les fenêtres des 2 chambres et du séjour sont situées juste en face de la Galerie des Offices. La vue est incroyable ! L’accueil de Rachel était très bien. Nous avons dîné à l’Hosteria Ganino qu’elle nous avait conseillé et avons beaucoup aimé.

Près du pont Vecchio

Un bel endroit juste à côté du pont Vecchio et du fleuve. Distance de marche de la vieille ville et de tous ses attraits. Le restaurant au rez de chaussée est excellent et le service attentionné. Une épicerie à 5 minutes. Pour tout vous dire c'est le genre d'endroit où on pourrait retourner. Semble cependant que nous ayons commis un impair! Nous en étions à nitre premier logement VRBO en Italie. Comme on ne nous a pas mentionné que nous devions porter les déchets à un endroit particulier et que ce n'est pas inscrit dans les directives/ consignes. Nous avons fait comme ailleurs; nous les avons laissé sur place..........semble que ça ait déplu. Désolé Rachel, assurez vous que cette consigne soit bien expliqué et écrite. Les quatres occupants Nicole, Jacques, Marcelle et Jean-Pierre

Everything we hoped for

The apartment is everything we hoped it would be: very comfortable rooms with tall ceilings, nice light and a great view that constantly reminds you that you are in Florence.It is nicely appointed and felt lived in, not a new modern apartment which could be in any city. It was always a delight to come home after a long day enjoying all that Florence has to offer. The elevator was a nice bonus.Our experience with this apartment started with a very warm welcome from Rachel, who couldn’t have been nicer. She was always easy to communicate with and very helpful, including arranging a taxi for us to leave and many good recommendations.The apartment is well located: just a short block from the Ponte Vecchio, there is a convenient grocery store on that block and a wine bar with simple food that is more inviting than its initial appearance. I don’t know that we would have tried it if Rachel hadn’t recommended it.We have rented several apartments around Florence, but we look forward to staying here again in the future. Thank you Rachel!

Spacious apartment in great location

this property is very spacious and elegantly furnished in a traditional style. The location is outstanding, just over the Ponte Vecchio bridge, so a bit quieter than the very central locations, but just a short walk away. Great views over the river. Its in an old apartment block which is very quiet. Only slight negative would be that it is an old building so the water was not super hot, and the kitchen is quite old fashioned. Bit overall it was charming and comfortable and we had a great stay. Rachel the host was helpful and very responsive.

We had an amazing time in Florence and the flat was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do. The highlight was having the fireworks set off on the river directly in front of the living room window! We will definitely stay here again!

A ideal place to stay

The apartment is fabulous. Very comfortable and great views. Lots of natural sunlight too. The apartment has everything you need including a much appreciated washing machine. Rachael was a delight and made us feel very welcome. She gave us excellent recommendations for eating. We really loved the neighborhood, easy walking to all of the sights and yet quiet at night. Great space and location in Florence!

The location and spaciousness of this apartment is superb. Very comfortable after long days of walking and absorbing all that Florence has to offer. Rachel and Lucia were responsive when we contacted them w our issues regarding lack of hot water for showering. One suggestion which would be helpful to future guests would be to have some written instructions available in English on how to operate appliances since they are different from what most people from the US are accustomed to. Overall we had a lovely experience and would enjoy returning to this property- especially now that we know more about how things work!😊

Incredible location and view.

This property is just as pictured. It is on the third floor, but there is an elevator reached by only 4 steps up. This is a walkable area, lively but not crowded. The hostess is easy to reach . There is a grocery store, wine shop, and gelato shop very nearby, there is a taxi stand across the street. We were able to walk to the Uffizi, Acadamia and Duomo.

Great apartment on the Ponte Vecchio

Loved the location of this property. Within walking distance of all the major sites, Uffizi gallery, Duomo, Accademia di Artiste, and the Piazzale Michelangelo, Piazza Signoria, Pitti Palace etc. if you want to see it you are close! Many lovely restaurants and shops close by and of course the Ponte Vecchio 2 min max. The apartment was large and had lovely furnishings, many antiques and a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Clothes washer (hang dry) and two baths. Beds were comfy and the apartment had air conditioning. Building had a small lift so if you can’t do stairs. Great window view across the Arno river of the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Taxi stand right out front was convenient too. Good communication with Rachel prior to check in. Definitely would recommend this property!

I can’t say enough about this apartment! The location is amazing with a view that can’t be beat! The apartment itself is HUGE with tall ceilings and enough room for everyone to spread out. The three AC units work wonders and the kitchen is spacious enough for multiple people to be in there at once. My teens loved having a big bedroom as well. Rachel was most accommodating, making dinner recommendations and booking us a cab for our ride to the airport in the morning. The apartment is walking distance to everything and there is an elevator!. Was always a little sigh of relief when we crossed the ponte vecchio and got to the slightly quieter side where we stayed. If I could rate this apartment higher I would. Will be recommending it to all my friends and family and would not think to stay anywhere else. Was our favorite place during our two week Italian vacation!

50th Wedding Anniversary

To celebrate our milestone anniversary, we took a Danube River Cruise, then 6 days in beautiful Firenze. This apartment was the icing on the (wedding) cake! SPECTACULAR just doesn’t describe it. My husbands sister and her husband joined us. We couldn’t have been happier with the location to EVERYTHING. Rachel and her colleague Lucia are absolute sweethearts - any issues we had, they were right there, regardless of the time, to fix them. The apartment was spotless, well equipped, and the view……magnifico! I hope to return to my beloved Firenze someday, and would love to stay here again. Thank you Rachel and Lucia!!

Could Not Ask For More!

This apartment is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the Ponte Vecchio. I mean, drop-dead gorgeous views. Florence is a walking city, and it seemed like this property was perfectly located because everything was within a 20-40 minute walk, which suited us, but a taxi stand is just a half block away, conveniently located near a fantastic wine bar (Signorvino)--our host recommended it as a great place to get meat and cheese platters/salads/drinks and we loved the place. There were lovely extra touches in the apartment that made our stay extra comfortable--supplies in the kitchen and room to cook if we chose, washcloths, extra towels/blankets, washer, etc. There is an elevator to get up the stairs if you have luggage. The AC works great! There's a lovely central area in the apartment to hang out so you are not limited to just your room. Place was spotless. You CANNOT go wrong with this gem!

Excellent apartment in a great location

To say we were happy with this apartment would be an understatement. It was absolutely perfect for our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). It is located close to everything. If we come back to Florence, we will definitely stay in this apartment again.
