'Clean, and had everything we needed. Great location. '

'Very nice location inside the gates of Yosemite. It is about 8 miles to Tunnel View, which made it a nice easy early morning drive to try for sunrise photos. Nice hot shower and warm nice bed were welcome changes from the few nights of camping earlier in my trip. Nice deck to relax on and recharge with a coffee while downloading photos from the Firefall in Feb 2025.'

'We come back every year with our Husky (since she was a puppy) and always have the best time. It feels like home as we know exactly where everything is. This place has become special to us as we have built so many memories. The place is always super clean and tidy with everything you need and more. We will be back again next year ! '

'Convenient check in and check out. Property owner/manager was responsive. The unit was a bit dated and so many random dressers collected over time. There were plenty of towels, but not any bedsheets for the futon or pull out beds.'

'Great little "in law" studio apartment adjoining the hosts' home (attached to structure but separate in every way). Wonderful, friendly hosts, Trace is a treasure trove of knowledge about Yosemite. And has deep connections to it (ask him about his personal story if you rent the place).Hwy 140 was unfortunately blocked off just prior to my visit, and the hosts contacted me offering me the flexibility to reschedule my trip (I did not, as I had planned from before and did not have the...

'Premium amenities in the condo. Memory foam mattress, good quality towels, kitchen essentials. And the garage is a huge bonus. The apartment heats up quickly, and when necessary can cool down with all the windows opened, with the cooking smells from the Warming Hut as an added bonus. The only complaint would be that there is early morning next door as the restaurant has delivery trucks or garbage trucks most days.'

'We were very pleased with our stay at this condo. This unit was tastefully remodeled, clean and the unit entrance was close to and on the same level as the parking. Owners were quick to respond when we had some questions about the unit and parking. We would stay here again with our family.'

'This was a very nice place to stay. It’s a great location to use as a base camp for traveling to Yosemite and other interesting places in the area, and there are 3 other lakes in the “neighborhood” for fishing, boating, and hiking also! Clean and comfortable - I/we would definitely stay here again. : )'

'Leuk hotel, beetje oud maar wel schoon en ruime kamer. Waarschuwing voor beren die zelfs dichte blikjes cola ruiken in de auto. Helaas geen beren mogen zien, zelfs niet om broodjes mee te smeren'

'Luxe opgezette glamping. Alles is zeer schoon en onderhouden. De tenten zijn ruim, de inrichting heeft een luxe uitstraling en de bedden liggen fijn. Een aantal tenten hebben schaduw van bomen maar vele ook niet. Wat jammer is dat de tent geen verduistering heeft waardoor je heel vroeg wakker wordt. Op het retreat zelf is niet veel te beleven overdag, geen zwembad, maar de omgeving biedt voldoende mogelijkheden'

Eenvoudige tent (No Heat or A/C) | Gratis wifi, beddengoed

'Dicht bij Yosemite NP. Verder prima voor paar overnachtingen. Geen luxe, maar we zochten ook gewoon een plek om te overnachten na lange dag in Yosemite. Fijn om nog even te zwemmen in het zwembad om af te koelen.'

"Zeer goede locatie om Yosemite te bezoeken, ideaal. Personeel zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ook voor de kids is er een spelletjesruimte beschilkaar met gratis pooltafel, pingping ed. Wel zou ik water ed niet het winkeltje te kopen. In het park bij Yosemite Village Center is het beter koop. Een TOP locatie!! "

"Kregen gratis update naar bubbelbad maar acc. is gedateerd. Zwembad fijn maar slechts 1 ligbed!! Employee bij navraag niet meer teruggezien. Ontbijt zou iets uitgebreider mogen, bijv. bacon/scrumbeld eggs, en ruimte te krap. Wat onderhoud zeer nodig ( metaalachtige tikken gedurende dag/nacht op kamer). Vriendelijke receptie. Lekker bed. Goede faciliteiten op kamer echter GEEN föhn. Ca. 45 km. van Yosemite Zuid. "

Great stop for Yosemite visit if you have kids

"We stayed in a cottage at Tenaya Lodge for two nights and we liked it. The room is the cottage was spacious and clean. We had access to a sitting area just outside the cottage which was nice. The cottage turned out to be a room in a 3-room cottage. It was still very nice but I actually expected an independent cottage based on my booking. This could be made a bit clearer on the site. The main lodge (walking distance from the cottages) has a beautiful and spacious lobby. There are two swimming facilities: indoor and outdoor. The floor in the indoor pool was a bit dirty and for some reason the hotel decides to play kids' movies above the pool very loudly. If you don't have kids or your kids are a bit older it totally ruins the experience of an evening swim. The common areas could be a bit cleaner. Even though we very much enjoyed the additional hot tub close to our cottage, the windows and doors in that building haven't been washed in a long time. "
