'Nicely appointed home just outside of Ponta Delgada. Clean, and spacious with beautiful gardens. We were 2 couples on our first visit to Sao Miguel and the proximity to the airport and city gave us the perfect "home base" while traveling the beautiful island of Sao Miguel. Would highly recommend for both couples traveling and families.'

'We were a group of 4 senior adults and were looking for a quiet, comfortable location to end our Portugal trip. This spot was perfect! From the host guiding us in by phone when we got turned around, to the pleasant housekeeper who met us at the property to check in to the spectacular views of the ocean and perfectly stocked home, our stay could not have been better. With 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms plus generous sized living and dining areas (including a cool outdoor kitchen), there was plenty...

'The location of this place is unbelievable, we ate breakfast outside in the garden with an incredible view of the ocean! The windmill is iconic, very cool place to stay. The inside is cozy and was all that we needed, we had no complaints.'

'We had a very nice short stay, 4 nights, at Antonio's. The garden was so very beautiful and the sunroom such a pleasant place to sit. It was hard to get away during the day to see something of the island. But still we did visit the island. Also very beautiful. From the house you have easy acces to all places, capital city 10 minutes dive, beach 20 minutes drive. My son went surfing on the highest waves he had seen. Antonio, thanks again and until the next time.'

'Overall, the property is very spacious. The home is divided into 3 separate areas with different entries for each. The air conditioners did not work the entire time we were there. They stated they were waiting for a part they had ordered. The windows don’t have screens so you can open them but you get some flies. The bottom section has a mildew smell but it’s expected with homes near the beach. The biggest inconvenience was they had men working on the property the entire time we were there. They...

'The Blue House was a wonderful home away from home. From the many windows are beautiful views of the sea and coastline. The host welcomed us with a bottle of wine, local cheese and bread, and basics like eggs, butter etc… It is best to have a rental car as it is about a 20 min drive to the Ponta Delgada and the airport.'

'Beautiful place and location on a one way street, a busy street, parking could be a problem. But we could always find a spot somewhere. The house had everything you would need. We found the top three steps of the stairs difficult for the 2 small children. Small grocery store right across the road, bakery up the road. Short walk to the ocean, fishing harbour, restaurants and shops We experienced 3 festival or celebrations in our week there. We would stay there again'

'A wonderful vacation home. There were 13 of us who stayed in a very spacious house. All the amenities that you could need and more. The pool and hot tub were very nice and well maintained. We rented the large van from the owners and were able to drive around the island easily. Thank you to the hosts for a very nice stay'

'Very cool house and Miguel and Pedro were very accommodating. Had everything our family needed and very central location. Best to have your own car here as it is a bit of a distance from town or beach, but again, a great home away-from-home!'

'This is a beautiful home that has been newly renovated with a cozy enclosed, private outdoor patio. Great location being close to downtown. Easy to walk to restaurants, groceries and the harbour front. Our host was amazing and went above and beyond what was required to ensure are needs were met for a wonderful visit to this island. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.'
