'Heerlijke week gehad. Veel bekeken en gewandeld. Onze Border Collie ook tevreden, rennen op grasveld en uitlaten langs stille landweg. Eigenaresse zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Nog extra Dank voor de moeite gedaan om de WiFi goed te laten functioneren. Oa. Ajax volgen 👍. We hadden het weer ook mee! Écht een aanrader! Peter.'

'Wij (vader en dochter) hebben hier twee nachten / drie dagen vertoefd en hebben een ontzettend leuke tijd gehad. Het huisje is super gezellig, zeer netjes en voorzien van alles wat nodig is. En ook nog eens in een heerlijk rustige omgeving. Verder was het voor ons een prima uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Rouen Deauville, Houflon en Etretat. Voor herhaling vatbaar.'

'The owners were very friendly and helpful. The charming house was very clean. The huge fenced off garden was perfect for our dog. The small balcony perfect for chilling out in the evening. One small disadvantage for less mobile people is that there is no upstairs toilet and it is a quite steep staircase. But so peaceful, no noise at night, perfect to rewind the batteries. We recommend it . M&H&N'

'We hebben hier een week doorgebracht met 3 van onze volwassen kinderen met aanhang. Wat een heerlijke week! Het huisje is sprookjesachtig, de tuin enorm, de buren aardig. Veel te doen in de buurt, we zijn naar de invasiestranden geweest, naar het gewone strand om te zwemmen, naar een klimbos, de dierentuin. 's Avonds lekker eten in de tuin en daarna spelletjes gedaan. 'Veronique en Christophe ontvingen ons hartelijk. Ze zijn duidelijk trots op het gerenoveerde huis en dat is terecht. Het ziet er van binnen en buiten prachtig uit. Het is er rustig maar niet afgelegen. Het dorp Doudeville is maar een paar minuten met de auto. Het is een goede uitvalsbasis, binnen het uur zijn er heel veel leuke en mooie plekken te bezoeken. Grote supermarkten op een kwartiertje. Keuken en sanitair was prima. Bedden ook. WiFi is soms een beetje wiebelig, maar dat is natuurlijk...

'On arrival hot tub disgusting not fit to use, however this was rectified quickly and sorted on the Monday. 1st floor toilet out of order meaning guest had to use toilet on other floors which was very inconvenient with children. Curtain poles in bedroom fell down every time a window was opened or closed. No lamps worked in that bedroom and several light bulbs were not working throughout the property. It was very dark downstairs lighting could do with upgrading. No hand basin in downstairs...

'After not thinking we would be able to holiday due to Covid this was the perfect relaxing retreat. Everything was as we had expected. The log cabin was well equipped and comfortable. The gifts on arrival ( goats cheese , apple juice, jam and cider ) were all lovely and a nice touch. Roaming chickens and cats were an added delight with some eggs given to us in the week. Perfect break.'
