« We spent a family Christmas here and weren’t disappointed. The property itself is large enough for 9-10 people comfortably, with lots of space. The village is wonderful, very quaint, with some superb country walks, but not too far from Dorchester or Yeovil.The only issues we had were with some of the mattresses in some rooms being too soft, but that’s down to personal preference.Overall, would highly recommend. »

« Property as excellent - very clean, spacious and good sized rear garden plus beautiful views of surrounding countryside. Only one negative - the bathroom shower - was very average and not easy to adjust for anyone under 5 feet two. Everything else was spot-on. »

« What a wonderful home to stay in. This is just the most cozy, warm, cottage imaginable. It lacks for nothing. The house is on a lovely farm with great walking areas. Pete and Bev are superb hosts, and were happy to offer whatever we might need, while not being at all intrusive. We visit family in Dorset often, and shall definitely hope to stay in this delightful spot again. We cannot think of anything negative to mention! »

« Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Very quiet area and beautiful views from the cottage. The drive down the 1 mile track to the property was a bit daunting at first as I don't like heights. Beware the potholes. Both coast and countryside in the local area is stunning. Beer being our favourite. »

« Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. »

« Perfect venue for a cosy week catching up with friends, we had been looking for somewhere large enough for all 10 of us to get together, play board games and have a film night! This was perfect! The dining table accomodated us all, as did the sofa! We also did all our own cooking and found the kitchen to be well equiped, (far more so than some professional kitchens weve used!) Will definitely be keeping this saved for future catch ups!! »
