« We booked this home as it is posted as being in very close proximity to the Great Sand Dunes. While the VRBO posting indicates the home is 4 minutes from the park, it is actually over an hour drive. We did have a fantastic time. The property was beautiful and clean with the exception of fruit and house flies in the main living area. I would recommend it as a great get away relatively close to the national park but be sure to plan accordingly. »

« We wanted a quiet week away after the holidays and this cabin was perfect for our family of 5 plus dog. Great space for everyone to have their own privacy, but also great family room area to gather for meals, games, and reading the by the fire. Communication with Pete was very easy - we had a few things come up that he was able to help out with quickly. Will definitely stay here again! »

« Great view of the San Luis Valley and San Juan Mountains. The main view from the dining room is spectacular! We played games at the table and would stop to discuss the view and watch the sunset. Very inspiring and created a peaceful fun vibe while we played games. Very private and peaceful location. Walkable neighborhood with great views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. « So close to Salida, but you feel miles away. The pond and river and surroundings are very peaceful. The house is very comfortable and the bookshelf has a wonderful mix of books. We also enjoyed the hot tub. »

« I booked this place for my family and I to spend Christmas together and man, we were not disappointed! Beautiful views every where you looked and so incredibly cozy! The wrap around deck is lovely even in the winter and watching the wildlife all around was definitely a bonus. Only suggestion is to make sure you have decent tires if there is snow. The driveway up to the house looks like it would be a little tricky if it is icey :) »

« We really enjoyed staying in such a new house with plenty of room for our family of 4. The rental was about a 3-hour drive from the Denver airport. The main purpose of our visit was to go skiing at Monarch Mountain. It was a very easy drive to/from Monarch Mountain each day and it would take just under 25 minutes for the drive. This house has everything we needed during our 4-night stay from TV options, laundry, cooking supplies, and extra blankets for relaxing on the couch. Staying in Poncha...

« We loved our weekend at Kristi’s in Salida! It was a great house for a family stay for everyone to have their own space and it was easy to walk to downtown restaurants and hiking trails. »

« Easy location to access BV, Salida, and monarch for snowboarding. The living room/ kitchen/ dining room were clean, comfortable, and perfect for family hang out! They had a lot of commodities - plenty of kitchen utensils, sheets, TP, towels, etc. We had a very comfortable stay. »

« This was was even better than the pictures. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook all of our meals and also keep up with the dishes. The rooms were very spacious and we were able to a comfortably fit everyone! The backyard was a dream, a great place to hang out and the hot tub was amazing, although a little small and the clips were old and broken, hot tub was still great. I was very concerned with the clips since there was specific instructions about them but when we inspected it, they...
