Residenties in Val-Thorens

'There was not a lot of information regarding check-in etcetera, and there are limited front desk hours. The common areas are quite dismal. However the room was well stocked and clean. Twin beds. You can lock up skis near lobby. A two minute walk to the slopes. If you are desiring comfort and amenities, this is not your place. However if you come to ski with a friend and don't mind basic accommodations, this place is not bad. '

'A well appointed apartment, in what appears to be a relatively newly built or refurbished block. Underfloor heating, nice bathrooms and furnishings, flatscreen tv's and a good kitchen. There is a nice pool & spa in the complex, and the boot room has heaters for boots and gloves. It is also genuinely a ski-in, ski-out boot room - although is slightly more painful if you need to get to childrens ski school which are up the hill, making it way, way quicker to actually march up the road instead and...

'No internet in property. No cellular reception (5G). Black mold in shower. Very limited storage space. One roll of toilet paper for a week for four people. Moldy towels. Smell of cigarettes everywhere. '

'Good value get what you pay for. Too many stairs without a lift difficult with suitcases and skis and high altitude!! Not exactly ski out. Close to night life but not noisy. Sewerage smell coming from drains in showers.'
