« Fireplace, clean, mini Christmas white lights. Andy's place is one of the most romantic stay and gives off major cozy vibes. Paul is a perfect host ! It was easy to reach him and he was paying attention to our needs. He made an ice rink on the pond, it was perfect for an epic weekend in nature. We will come back. Thank you ! »

« We stayed at this lovely little cabin for several days this summer. Immaculate and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. Beautifully set up outdoor space with a wonderful hot tub to relax in after hiking.So close to kayaking and swimming on a beautiful lake, great hiking (Appalachian Trail is nearby) and the restaurants in town were fabulous. We enjoyed having our hiking dog with us. The host has paid close attention to every detail on this property. Would absolutely visit again! »

« Beautiful property , just the right size for a couple , cozy with a private beach area. If you would have a hard time climbing up ladder to bedroom they have another property next door with a larger and easier accessible bed. The owners live close and were very helpful. we toured with easier access to a larger bed. »

« Nice location; close enough to town yet far enough away to be quiet. Felt very comfortable and very at-home at Benson Cottage - a great place to unwind and enjoy what Nature and the Moosehead Lake region have to offer. Our host, Tara, was friendly, easy to communicate with and kept the cottage well-stocked and clean. We wanted for nothing. I sure hope we can come back before too long! »

« The location was beautiful, right on the river and beautiful views. Close to trails for ATV. The Rockwood bar and grill fed us two nights and we enjoyed it! The home was cozy and had the essentials. We enjoyed spending time in the downstairs living room. The house could have had a deeper clean (just lots of cob webs and some bugs around lights) I also wish there was less responsibility on the guests. We had to do laundry and take all of our trash. This left us in a rush and waking up early to...

« This is a wonderful find and so well appointed -from perfect glassware to comfy sheets and fluffy towels. You will want for nothing! My husband and I stayed for four days to attend a wedding close by. This was a perfect spot. Thank you Mike and Kim for sharing your special place. »

« Sweet new cabin on the river - very close proximity to Moosehead Lake. Dock for boating to Mt Kineo for golfing and hike. Clean with everything one needs for a peaceful vaca. Enjoyed watching boats pass by and the occasional seaplane overhead. Although not remote, it was a quiet site. ✔️✔️✔️ we recommend 🦅 landing! »

« We returned here this year after a magical stay last summer. We were not disappointed. The location of the house on Lake Hebron makes for a fun time. Kayaking, fishing, birdwatching or just sitting and relaxing occupied our time at the house. The loons calling created a soundtrack for our stay.
