« Just a beautiful place, surprisingly with everything we needed in one small area. Great breakfast options and coffee at Nancy's bakery just steps away. A lovely pub with pleasant service, a beautiful view of the ocean, and a terrific menu. And another boardwalk restaurant with seafood options and more. Also, right behind the hotel is a beer and wine, and market with all basic needs covered. To top off, all staff and locals friendly and courteous. »

« La premiĂšre chose Ă  dire concernant le Old Courthouse Inn est qu'il se trouve directement placĂ© derriĂšre une usine Ă  papier. Si cela ne nous a pas gĂȘnĂ© pour dormir, c'est vraiment dommage car l'usine cache la vue de la jolie baie de Powell River. Ensuite, c'est un hĂŽtel dit "boutique", en hommage Ă  la mĂšre du propriĂ©taire et aux annĂ©es 50: c'est un amoncellement de meubles et d'objets pas particuliĂšrement beaux mais qui ont en commun le fait d'ĂȘtre vieux. Il en rĂ©sulte une odeur de poussiĂšre...

"This place was a nightmare from the moment I arrived. The parking lot reeked and had dog poop scattered around. My room stank of dog urine so badly it was hard to breathe. I had an emergency and had to leave after the first night, but there was no one,not even at the front desk, willing or able to speak to me about a refund for the second night I paid for. Completely unprofessional. The surrounding area is depressing and offers nothing worth staying for. Save your money and stay literally anywhere else."
