« Overall good experience. The cabin could have been a little cleaner (refrigerator, dishes, showers). The a/c-heat didn't seem to work but it wasn't terribly cold and was able to make do with the fireplace. »

« This cabin is very close to Savage Gulf, full of spectacular hiking. The shower is great with wonderful water pressure, plenty of hot water and a shower head placed high enough for tall people. Nice that there is a gas stove too. We were plenty warm on very chilly nights. »

« Made us feel right at home. There was even a Crockpot!! »

« We had a nice time, enjoyed FCF State Park. On plus side, very comfortable place, good bed, nice wraparound porch. On the minus side, small bathrooms, outside furniture needed cleaning (maybe keep cushions inside until use?), lighting throughout not good for reading. »

« This place is absolutely beautiful. I can hardly wait to stay here again. It was one of the best weekends I’ve had in years. »

« Fishcamp cabin at FireFly Acres is a jewel! Perfect stop for hiking at nearby state parks and a nice hot tub for aching feet at the end of the day. Very comfortable and stocked with everything you need except your food. »

« The location was beautiful and quiet. We saw wildlife just down from the house, the trees were beautiful and there is a state park about 1.5 miles from the cabin. We did not need to contact host prior to our arrival I am guessing there would be no problems »

« Enjoyed staying in the historic cottage. We even saw a picture of the same cottage in the Cumberland mountain state park museum!! We thought that was really neat! »

« Cute little cabin stocked with all the essentials and close to several state parks to enjoy. Great location, great place, great stay! We had an awesome time here and will definitely be bragging about it! »

« I have been to this cabin multiple times now. This year I had the privilege of bringing my girlfriend with me. She fell in love with the place immediately. We spent a lot of time at the park, time on the porch reading, and hanging out at the fire pit. We are already looking forward to our next visit. »

« This cabin is beautiful and immaculately maintained. My friends slept in the bedroom downstairs and I was in the loft. I have back problems and the bed was so comfortable! Check-in was so easy, and the instructions were detailed and easy to understand. The directions were also easy to understand. We loved the decor and the signs in the laundry made us smile. Super close to the state park and Spencer/Sparta/Pikeville. We ran around chasing waterfalls and had a wonderful time, and a wonderful...

« Our cabin was just perfect - clean, comfortable, well-equipped. The property is beautiful. We love to go to the mountains every fall to hike, and there is a mile+ hike to a beautiful overlook site on the property. We were close to Rock Island State Park, Savage Gulf State Park, and Fall Creek Falls, so there were lots of options for hiking and beautiful scenery. The hosts were fantastic, available for any issues that arose (the gate malfunctioned one day). Highly recommend this property! »

« Beautiful area. Our first experience “glamping” and it was fabulous! The host was very accommodating and friendly, everything was supplied for the camping experience. Host even started our evening camp fire when we arrived. All the comforts Of home. »
