'Ellen and Adam were wonderful hosts. It was my husband's birthday weekend, and they surprised us with a nice focaccia bread, cupcakes from a local bakery, and birthday candles to boot!! The view from the 2nd floor space is reminiscent of a Finger Lakes winery overlooking Otisco Lake and surrounding rolling hills so typical of this area--So nice!!'

'EVERYTHING as described and more. Place was so clean you'd of thought we were the first guests. Hosts were very accessible via text during our stay. The construction of this tree house is amazing and detailed. The ability to sit at a fire even during rain was a plus and complete with barn owls calling in the distance at night. Minutes away from a small town with a great breakfast diner, but completely secluded in the woods. We just can't say enough about how cool this place is.'

'Visiting Oneida and enjoyed a long weekend at the house. Was traveling with my husband, 2 adult children and a friend. The house was clean and has all the amenities that we needed. We enjoyed using the kayaks and hanging by the lake. The location was convenient and nice restaurants near by.'

'Very convenient to Syracuse area, this charming house has all you need for a nice quiet getaway. Quiet inside the house and neighbor-free, the house has very comfortable beds and furniture and a great kitchen. Fun quirks on the style side as depicted in photos are a bonus!'

'Most of the time, when you rent from vrbo, the address appears as soon as the booking is confirmed. This host never gives the address because they never intend for you to stay there. We booked this property and then suddenly there was a maintenance issue. One message said it was electrical and another said ot was a water problem. But not to worry! They have other properties that you can stay in that are complete dumps. They come wirh garbage and debris in the entry way, sticky floors, bugs,...

'We had a great week! The house is wonderful. Very very clean and we really appreciated the thoughtful layout and impressive use of space. It was perfect for our family! The driveway down to the house is steep (as noted in the description)with switchbacks but once you’ve navigated it, it is not a problem. Great location - close to town.'

'Camp Shah was a fantastic getaway for our extended family. We had such a great time swimming, kayaking, sitting around the fire and playing cards on the screen porch. The only suggestions I have is that the 100lb weight limit on the bunk beds should definitely be listed, and also possibly an upgrade to the refrigerator. Other than that, the property was wonderful and the owners were super responsive, friendly and helpful. I'd rent it again.'
