« Our family of four had a lovely stay at The Cabin. We enjoyed being a little bit off the beaten path, the peacefulness, and the private access to the Oyster River. The Cabin is well appointed and comfortable, and the outdoor shower and large lawn was enjoyed by our kids. Karen was easy to communicate with and we had no problems. »

« Hosts were welcoming and clear with their communication regarding check in and other amenities. Dwellings were well made and suited our needs. The locals of the island were so sweet and helpful as well. The island has many beautiful places to explore including walks and hikes. So glad we went on the “off season” as we were able to do our exploring with little or no crowds. Worth all the extra ferry rides as be able to travel off the beaten trail. »

The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week's vacation. The cabin is centrally located with several beaches within close proximity on foot or bike. « I like how the place is set up in the woods and it’s clean and all the basic necessities are supplied. What I don’t is the shower doesn’t drain the water. The shower knob is loosed. Deck doesn’t seem stable. Washroom upstairs has no walls, no privacy. »

« What a gem! Gorgeous property in an awesome location. Have your morning coffee on the sun dappled deck or walk to the beach and watch the tide come in. A short walk to the General store and farmers market. Great kitchen, with a BBQ just outside the door. We loved roasting marshmallows on the gas fire pit in the garden, looking up at the stars. Thank you for the amazing holiday Susan! Can’t wait to book our next vacation! »

« Tony and Kathy’s cabana is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. All the amenities you could want, a lovely outdoor shower with hot water, a wonderful outdoor wood framed flushing toilet, and all the ocean views and scenery you could ask for. Highly recommend! »

« We loved staying here. Samantha, the owner, is attentive and good communicator in a real and vulnerable way. The kitchen is amazing, all you’ll need to cook an awesome meal. « It is a fun little spot to enjoy the beautiful views of Okeover Arm and convenient to get to Lund to explore Desolation Sound. We had some rousing games of bocce on the lawn in front of the cottages. Others played badminton and cornhole.
