« We came down for dance convention. The house was good, but we had some concerns with the back bedroom and the side door. The back bedroom floor was cracked and gave in one spot when you walked on it. It felt very unstable. We did not allow any of our girls to stay in this room for fear of it braking and them falling through. We also had some concerns with the side door as the doorknob was very loose, to the point we were afraid it would fall off. »

« Due to a hospitalization, we were unable to travel to Fairhope and stay at the Crêpe Myrtle Cottage, however, my communications from beginning to end with Nancy were wonderful. Knowing this was a multi generational girls trip Nancy assisted me well beyond just the rental of her cottage, offering restaurant and shopping recommendations. I notified Nancy the day before our trip that my parent was in the hospital. In addition to offering her prayers, she provided me the opportunity to reschedule...

« We made a quick trip to Mobile for Thanksgiving with our dog and 8 year old human. The Lafayette House was exactly what we needed. A cute, clean place to sleep in midtown that accepted our whole family! We especially liked how there was a crate set up and ready to use, dog bowls provided and a completely fenced yard. »

Less than an hour to Dauphin Island and other beaches. 5 minute drive to local dining and culture area. Owner was very accommodating. My girlfriend left her favorite pillow and the owner mailed it back to her. We loved it! We will definitely be staying here again. »

"Un hôtel qui mise tout sur son charme et en oublie les essentiels : accès au balcon difficile (chambre payée plus chère pour avoir un balcon, il fallait pour l’une des chambre coincer la fenêtre avec une planche…), la propreté n’était pas au rendez-vous dans tous les recoins (sols, fenêtres, meubles dans la chambre, pas de brosse dans les toilettes)."

Peut nettement mieux faire en termes de propreté

"Séjour d'une nuit dans cet hôtel situé en périphérie de Mobile. Dans l'ensemble nous avons été déçus, bien que la literie était très bonne, la propreté laissait fortement à désirer. Mis à part les serviettes et les draps pour lesquels il n'y avait rien à redire, les meubles étaient gras et la salle de bains présentait d'importantes traces d'humidité et un dégât des eaux non traité. La salle du petit-déjeuner était également peu entretenue, ce qui est dommage puisque le petit-déjeuner était bon. Difficile de recommander l'hôtel pour le moment, nous espérons que cela s'améliorera rapidement."
