'When I turned 70 I wanted to celebrate all the things I cherish in life. My children joined me, hopped on the ferry and we arrived at Judi & Brian's Beachfront Haven on Lopez Island. I have been dreaming of sitting on the deck and reading in one of the wooden lounge chairs, overlooking the water and watching all the sea ducks and seals float by. The house is full of comfortable furniture, wonderful artwork with marine touches and windows all facing west over an incredible view of San Juans....

'Makkelijk dat het op loopafstand van de ferry van Friday Harbour is. Ruime, nette kamer. Vrij ' anoniem' hotel. Meer een motel eigenlijk. Onder ons waren ze een kamer aan het verbouwen. Dit hadden ze ons niet vermeld. Hot tub en zwembad zijn lekker, handdoeken voorradig.'

'The cottage was the perfect place for a wonderful get away on San Juan Island. Mary is a very creative artist and has decorated the cottage beautifully and provided absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The gardens are filled with fantastic flowers and the patio and view are a great place to enjoy meals. We hope to return soon!'

'We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Roche Harbor Resort, it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom space was very large and well appointed. The staff was so kind and helpful in every way and gave great hiking recommendations(thanks Tara!). We ate at McMilllin's on site both nights and the food and service(Leslie) was perfection! We had a perfectly lovely breakfast at the Lime Kiln Cafe where the avocado toast was prepared in the best way possible with a nice over easy local egg on...

'This is a gorgeous mansion of a house with beautiful antique furniture, comfortable beds, within walking distance of everything in Lopez Village. The owner is around but in the background so available if you need him. Super comfy room with all the amenities one looks for in a comfy BnB style stay! '

'Onze kamer was luidruchtig wegens een buitenlamp die aan het zoemen was. Het personeel was zo vriendelijk ons een andere kamer te geven. De kamers waren heel klein, je kon niet leunen tegen de bedrand om nr tv te kijken. De tv's waren geen flatsceens. Maar de kamers waren wel netjes. Op loopafstand van het centrum.'
