Affectionally known as Hidden Cove, this unique lodge is on 360 private acres and has direct riverfront access. Enjoy the sights and sounds of ultimate serenity from multiple outdoor areas. The atrium includes a heated eight-foot-deep pool that is available year-round, along with a hot tub and a stone wall. Sit by the wood-burning fireplace, or sip a drink at the table. Fire up the built-in gas grill. Dine alfresco at one of two outdoor tables. Relax by the wood-burning firepit in the wooded backyard. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to hiking, biking, and fishing - with direct access to over two miles of groomed trails. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, or camping along the riverfront. Dine and shop along Main Street in Chimney Rock. Drive about six miles to wander trails or hit the links at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure. Picturesque Lake Lure is a dream destination for nature lovers. Chimney Rock is five miles from your door, and Lake Lure Adventure Company offers boat rentals within a nine-mile drive. Lake Lure Rental Boats offer weekly, daily, and half-day rentals as well as discounts for Pinnacle Vacasa stays.

The great room features vaulted ceilings, a smart TV with a soundbar, and a gas fireplace. Warm tones and wood beams add ambience. Enjoy indoor/outdoor living in the screened sunroom. Take in serene views of trees from the four-person table. Or relax by the wood-burning fireplace. The game room has Ping-Pong, foosball, a smart TV with a soundbar, and a table. The loft has a pool table. A bright nook features a desk and printer.

Prepare recipes in the well-equipped kitchen, fitted with a full suite of appliances. Enjoy meals at the dining table or breakfast bar. The second kitchen offers a full suite of appliances and a dining table.

The primary suite has a TV and a screened porch with a sectional and a swing. The en suite bathroom has a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Another suite has a smart TV and an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Two ultra-private rooms, including the bunk room with a TV, are free of windows, promising a peaceful night of sleep.

Extra perks include complimentary WiFi, two washers/dryers, a kayak, firewood, a whole-house generator, and radiant floor heating in all rooms, including the sunroom and pool area.

Perfect off grid wooded homestead with creek
Second time our family enjoyed this location. Of course the indoor pool with waterfall and sauna was a hit. We loved the fireplaces both gas and wood burning. The large kitchen was perfect for many adults to work in together at the same time-one of our family pleasures. Loved having a pool table, ping pong table and foosball table to use. It is a Hidden Cove “gem”

Early Mountain Christmas
Amazing adventure for 7 adults. Everything was beautiful and spacious. It was as if we came across an abandoned resort! Stunning grotto pool with waterfall, large hot tub, and large game room. Infinite number of private areas to relax. Wood and gas burning fireplaces. Will definitely come back!

Lived up to billing
Reading all the previous comments about this house we were eagerly looking forward to our visit. A group of 11 were blown away by the property. Immaculately cleaned, beautifully furnished, the river, and of course, the amazing pool solarium all added to a fantastic vacation. We have no negative comments about the property other than the WiFi which is totally understandable due to the house being so remote. It will definitely be hard to beat this house in the future. We would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone.

Overall, very nice house and great weekend. Had an electricity issue when we first arrived, but got that resolved within an hour. However, fuse box should not be in a locked closet as our issue was a tripped circuit breaker.

Family Get Together
This was an amazing place to gather our family for a late Christmas celebration. Family came from as far away as California and as close as Fairview. We had so much fun swimming, hiking, playing basketball and pool. The indoor pool was spectacular and very comfortable, even in February! We all decided it would be fun to come back in the spring or fall.

The home was what I’ve imagined as my dream home.
Two days wasn’t enough time to enjoy the entire home. The house is spacious and beautiful. The inside heated pool/waterfall, balconies with fireplaces, and being secluded by nature was everyone’s favorite part of our stay. The river/creek was amazing, but we didn’t have enough time to experience the outdoors as much as I would’ve liked to. This is now my favorite location-best rental I’ve ever stayed at!

Simply Amazing!
Wonderful place to stay. Loved the indoor pool with waterfall. Very spacious. Plenty of room for everyone. Only sacrifice was giving up cell phone coverage and having patchy internet service for the privacy and seclusion. Our family enjoyed our time very much. Thank you.

This place is out of a movie
It’s obviously was built buy someone that planned to use it. The pool is obviously one part that makes this place stand out but there are so many great outdoor seating areas and porches. The river is right there and we kayaked two days, shallow water in places but a fun time. The only thing I think is missing is a larger table to accommodate the size of a crowd the house can. We made due with the seats at the island and wasn’t a big deal. The pool table, ping pong and foosball ad to the lack of need to leave. We will be going back!

Beautiful home with plenty of room. Everything you need is right there. Two full kitchens and laundry rooms. The indoor pool and hot tub were amazing.Very private a mile from the highway. We highly recommend this place for a large family or group.

50th anniversary celebration
12 of us total stayed here - we were all delighted by the house itself, the pool, the landscape, the river, the rural privacy. It was was beautiful! The only reason we gave "cleanliness" a 4/5 was there were dead bugs and cobwebs EVERYWHERE around and on the outdoor seating areas, (wasp nests too!), and dirty sheets in one of the bedrooms. We just tossed those in the wash, and tried to wipe down the seating areas and all was well! Would definitely come back.

Every summer we take a family trip involving three generations. This was our first time renting a home to do so. We had a great time at this property. The indoor swimming pool was wonderful. Plenty of spaces for individual quiet time but also for family gathering. We would highly recommend this location.

Secluded getaway
Our family really enjoyed this secluded home but yet close enough for activities in the area, such as zip lining and tubing. The pool was a big hit and the outdoor grill and fire pit. Amazing wooded area near to the river. Was wonderful sitting on the upstairs porch in the morning to hear the river. We have done a lot of Vrbo rentals and this is probably our best.

Great family vacation property
This is the best property our family has ever rented! We loved the indoor pool and hot tub. There is so much to do in this house. We played pool, Foosball, ping pong, and had fun cooking together in the spacious kitchen. We grilled, had s'mores, and enjoyed board games every day. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed all the beautiful scenery and multiple decks.

Beautiful home. Tons of space. Pool Was outstanding. Only problems we had were no satellite signal for TV’s all week and intermittent/slow Internet service at times. Owner/Hughesnet improved speed aspect overall but signal still weakens at times. Great place for family vacation.
