'This place is a gem! Safe , clean and so well kept. You see the staff everywhere taking care of the facilities. The room was so clean, bed was perfect, kitchenette was very useful but it didn’t have utensils of any kind, little microwave and fridge. Oh and the room is quite spacious! Hotel has one of the few ( that I saw) guarded entrances. The staff was sweet and helpful. Great place to stay! We would definitely be back'

'In the middle of beautiful jungle life and very close to many beaches. The garden was amazing and the place was very clean. Lots of restaurants and shopping a short drive away.'

'Set in a jungle angle like setting , yet very well maintained, friendly staff, beautiful plants and sounds on birds And monkeys especially in the morning.10- 15 min walk to beach 20-25 to grocery store . Tuk tuk is very affordable if you don’t have a car . Grocery Store delivery free if you spend $50.00 or so . Lots of local restaurants within walking distance. The road up is a bit rough. '

'This home is perfect! You don’t have to leave to see the wild life. We saw howler monkeys, hummingbirds, and parrots right from the back yard. Me and my husband loved the meditation room to just look out into nature and relax. Its located near the beach, 20 minute drive to Cahuita national park, and a 15 minute drive to Puerto Viejo. It has everything you need to enjoy Costa Rica!'

'We had the most incredible stay at Casita Tucan. Starting with the check in process- so smooth and the hosts were extremely accommodating letting us leave our luggage in the main office before check in so we could go explore. Staying in this house is an experience unlike anywhere else. You are quite literally in the jungle. The house was surrounded by sloths (a mom and baby), tons of capuchin monkeys, and the best was being woken up by the howler monkeys at 5am. Puerto viejo is such a fun little...

'Mooie huisjes met alles erop en eraan, weg oversteken en je bent op het strand. Op loopafstand van restaurants. Rustig gelegen. Super lieve mensen! Helpen met alles en zijn erg zorgzaam. Wij komen hier zeker terug!!'
