« Thanks for hosting us at The Lilacs cabin on Mt Palomar. We truly relaxed while staying -- the setting is so peaceful, surrounded and shaded by huge cedars and oaks, and visited closely throughout the day by woodpeckers, jays, pigeons, quail, and other birds. This century old cabin glows with character, from its patchwork quilt-like additions, to its mildly skewed floor, to its eclectic decor items. The cabin reminded us of other homey houses of similar vintage -- it was immediately comfortable....

« Cozy house with a/c and several decks with mountain view. Enjoyed the jacuzzi nightly. Good walks in the neighborhood. Very comfortable. The driveway took a little getting used to, but then it was fine. »

« We stayed two nights in cabin #5. Nicely upgraded and very clean. Great view of countryside and part of lake Henshaw. Very peaceful Thursday, but got a bit busier as Friday afternoon weekend folks rolled in. Close to lake, Julian, outdoor activities, and good restaurants. »

« We were at Weber’s Wood Cabin for 3 nights. It was quiet, cozy and very comfortable. The interior was really charming and the kitchen was well appointed with quality appliances. Best treat was a flock of wild turkeys walking through the front yard one morning. »

« We booked this location especially because it was dog friendly. We absolutely loved it and it exceeded our expectations. Paul was great and called the day we got there to make sure we didn’t have any questions and to let us know specifics. Such a quiet and relaxing area, the cabin is also very fun with all the little details. It was a pretty hot weekend, and the beds still had the winter flannel sheets, but other than that it was perfect. »

« Great little place, cute, fun location, clean and excellent value; this was our second visit - would come again ONLY IF high iron/Sulphur levels in water are resolved. Not pleasant using water that tastes like you have blood in your mouth and smells like rust ALL the time & Sulphur odor at times. This water problem has been an issue for some time with the cabins since there is a little sign about it and you can also see the rust stains on shower tile, ect. I appreciated the quick help /responses...

« This place is great and has everything you might need. Great views of the mountains and Lake Henshaw. Amazing night sky (as long as other cabins turn their porch lights off). Even though it was 100+ degrees the tree shade helped outside and AC inside was great. Great porch. 2 bathrooms were so good to have. Really cute and comfortable. We really enjoyed one night and will be back! »
