Be orepared to walk hills and stairs as it is above the historic district with beautiful views of the river and the Ribiera waterfront from outside by the church. '

'We had a very good stay. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we made it work. Very close to restaurants and the river. Could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues due to a steep staircase. Apt was clean and quiet.'

'Een ruim appartement, met heerlijk veel licht binnen en een geweldig terras met mooi uitzicht! Héél gastvrije eigenaars, die zeer bruikbare tips gaven over vervoer en te bezoeken locaties en restaurants. We hebben een geweldige week gehad! Het appartement ligt op een prima locatie, het centrum is gemakkelijk bereikbaar, te voet danwel met openbaar vervoer. Er zijn heerlijke restaurants en leuke winkels in de directe omgeving.'

'Het verblijf was super en het huis ook! Enige nadeel vond ik de geur alsof je in een kerk was. Dit was vooral in het halletje erg aanwezig. Verder prima en keurig netjes, zeker aan te bevelen'

'An excellent location for a stay in Porto. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. We were welcomed to her home with a fresh baked cake and some Port. We will look to stay here again for our next trip to Porto. '

'We had a fantastic time staying at this house - so clean and cosy. Our children (8 and 11) enjoyed the pool and playing on the lawn. The surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed our walks to the river and the beach. We hope to be back some day!'

'The Yellow House was clean and comfortable. Paulo’s mother was lovely, greeting us and pouring us port to celebrate our arrival. She kindly showed us the basics of our place, and even walked us down the street to show us where to go and eat. Fado Portuguese was so close, great food, wine and live Fado. Be healthy and reasonably active…lots of hills to climb here, but so much to see.'

'We had a very pleasant stay. The house is as you can see in the pictures, not an average holiday home. The furniture in the bedrooms is lovely and antique. As a consequence we found the bed a little uncomfortable to share. We were welcomed by Elói and he provided a lot of useful information about the neighbourhood, places to eat, things to visit etc. The house has a garage which is also nice. The kitchen is great, as is the dining room, the garden and the basement with the pooltable. The salon...

'Wauw! Wat een mooi appartement, prachtig verzorgd met alles er op en er aan. Genoeg ruimte en heel dicht bij alles in de buurt. Isabel heeft ons de eerste dag de kaart laten zien om de “must see” plekken aan te wijzen. Ik raad dit appartement echt aan! Een van de beste waar ik tot nu toe ben geweest.'
